Hollywood, CA – Evergreen pop titan Barbra Streisand is working on a new single, a collaboration with rap upstart Cardi B to be called “Bodak Yentl,” sources close to the singer say.
“It is Barbra’s first official foray into hip hop music, and we couldn’t be more excited about it,” one anonymous source said. “We have heard the demo, and it is off the chain.”
The song is a remake of Cardi B’s recent Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper, “Bodak Yellow,” spliced with an iconic Barbra Streisand pop culture reference, her starring role in the timeless film Yentl.
Rumors of the collaboration started swirling on social media after Tiffany Haddish posted a snapshot of herself with the pop icon, captioned “Just so y’all know I taught my big sister about @CardiB_ today.”

Miss Streisand immediately returned the tweet with a sweet expression of gratitude.

Before long, the picture went viral as fans began speculating about a collaboration.
“Babs about to get the house lit,” said one 67-year-old fan on Twitter. “This a welcome detour from her usual pop fare.”
The song is expected to drop sometime early next year.
